UNITED STAR OF EUROPE: CYPRUS/ZYPERN

Together Cyprus – the Environmental and Social network, is a non-governmental organization operating since 2017. The purpose of the organization is to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through various campaigns and programs that promote actions to preserve and protect the environment as well as social contribution and volunteerism.

The philosophy of Together Cyprus lies in the active cooperation of citizens in both environmental and social issues as well as the inclusive participation of people from vulnerable groups. Our organization follows a horizontal strategy of economic prosperity and circular economy.

The three main objectives of the Organization are the following:

1. The environmental awareness of citizens through various actions and campaigns of pancyprial scope with the aim of responsible management of the environment and the natural resources of the island.

2. The environmental education of the citizens of tomorrow, in kindergartens, high schools and universities through lectures, green actions but also donations for the implementation of knowledge and skills regarding sustainability and environmental protection.

3. The creation and cultivation of synergies with political and local bodies as well as with people who have key positions in the political and international scene for a continuous communication and awareness between the needs of both citizens and the environment.
