UNITED STAR OF EUROPE: IRELAND/IRLAND

My name is Giulia and I am a 32 year old Swiss/Italian citizen currently living in Ireland. During lockdown I started picking litter on my daily walks and documenting my findings on Instagram. In Ireland there is an organisation called Clean Coasts that provides free litterpicking kits to anyone that is interested. That is how I started, I requested a kit and started using it. It is so easy and everyone can do it, no matter where you are or how many pieces you pick up, each and every one makes a difference! It is such a simple way to contribute to a cleaner environment and to protect the precious ecosystem and natural landscapes of our beautiful home, planet Earth.
